The newly developed DHEA (saliva) EIA kit by our laboratory provides a high sensitivity, quantitative tool for direct determination of DHEA in saliva without pre-treatment for sample. Furthermore, assays using this kit can be completed within a short period. The DHEA (saliva) EIA kit newly developed will be a quite useful tool for further development in anti-aging research and the levels of DHEA can be used as a marker of aging.
